- Abstract
The article presents legal developments in marketing relating to the regulation of competition. Regarding price discrimination, the case "Peelers Company and Laitram Corp. v. Ivar Wendt, et al.," is discussed, involving discriminatory leasing rates on industrial equipment. Regarding resale price maintenance, the case "United States v. Jantzen, Inc.; Catalina, Inc,; Cole of California, Inc.; and Rose Marie Reid," is discussed, involving a consent decree signed by four swimwear manufacturers stating that they will not enter into any pricing agreements with other manufacturers.
