- Abstract
The article reports the publication of "The Farmer Speaks" surveys in the periodical "Successful Farming." The author focuses on the reasoning behind the surveys and what the survey results might imply about farmers as consumers and the agricultural industry in the U.S. The methodology behind the surveys is revealed. Farmers' opinions regarding topics including U.S. presidential candidates, the teaching of sex education, the censorship of radio broadcasts, and government control of agricultural production are presented.
