- Abstract
The article discusses the updates of national politics with information on the national referendums and initiatives and political party composition under the leadership of President Rene Falber in Switzerland in 1992. It was informed that Radical Democrats was the leading political party of the country with 44 parliamentary members and two cabinet members. It was announced that the revision of electoral law has led to an extension of the political rights of Swiss people living in foreign countries. The Swiss government has considered whether or not the country should become a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) to improve economic situations through making budget cuts and tax increases.
