- Abstract
The article focuses on the flaws inherent in the Gulf Coast Claims Facility's (GCCF) compensation scheme with the goal of compensating environmental damage. Topics discussed include contextual information as to the oil spill and widespread devastation wrought upon the Gulf Coast, compensation issues that plagued the GCCF and District Court Judge Carl Barbier's order for the problematic reasoning and implications for privately run relief funds.
