The author examines the range of forms found in the Balkan language that are related to Arabic word tamam, in honor of the important contributions of linguist Grace Fielder to Balkan linguistics. Topics include the author's attempt to explain the unusual variations with tamam in the Balkan language, a variety of meanings of the form tamam, and its emergence in the Turkish language. Also cited are the Aromanian forms of the term.
