- Abstract
The article discusses the aspects of attribution theory and its relation to self-efficacy theory. Attribution theory attempts to explain human behavior. Both attribution theory and self-efficacy theory is based on the assumption that cognitions which people have about their behavior determine their behavior. Two main issues addressed by the attribution theory are regarding the way people derive attributions from previous behavioral outcomes and the result of these attributions on future behavior.
