- Abstract
The article reports on the LEED gold certification earned by the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Summit Residence Halls from the U.S. Green Building Council. It highlights the function of the Copper House and Eldora House resident halls to the university and the students and offers information on the collaborative design team that participated in the creation of the facilities. The sustainable design practices in the precast concrete structures are discussed.
