- Title
Students use beer, kite to erect concrete pyramid.
- Abstract
The article discusses the feasibility study of the students from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California on testing the theory that Egyptians used beer and kites in their construction of the pyramids. The author stated that students harnessed the forces of the wind though the use of a kite to move concrete blocks and prepared the erection site with beer and then erect the 106-ton pyramid. In addition, to replicate the fine linens of the Egyptian era, the kite is manufactured using a treated silk material.
