- Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, fen bilgisi eğitimi öğrencilerinin liselere geçiş sınavında sorulan biyoloji sorularına yönelik başarılarını incelemek ve sınav sorularına yönelik görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma deseni tarama modelidir. Katılımcılar, 2019-2020 öğretim yılında Ankara’da bulunan bir devlet üniversitesinin Matematik ve Fen Bilimleri Eğitimi Bölümü, Fen Bilgisi Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda 1., 2., 3., 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 211 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel veri toplama aracı olarak MEB Ölçme, Değerlendirme ve Sınav Hizmetleri Genel Müdürlüğü’nün 2018-2019 yılları arasında liselere geçiş sınavında sorulan ve çoktan seçmeli biyoloji sorularından oluşan test kullanılmıştır. Nitel veri toplama aracı olarak ise araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüş formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada başarı testinden elde edilen nicel veriler SPSS 26 ve ITEMAN programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Nitel verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin biyoloji sorularına yönelik başarı düzeylerinin orta düzeyde olduğu, cinsiyete göre farklılaşmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca 1. ve 2. sınıf ile 3. sınıf öğrencileri; 2. ve 3. sınıf ile 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin başarı puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin çoğunluğu liselere geçiş sınavı sorularının yoruma dayalı olduğu, sınavın başarılı/başarısız öğrencileri ayırt etmede yeterli olduğu ve öğretmen olduklarında en fazla öğrenci merkezli, yaparak yaşayarak öğrenme yöntemlerini kullanacakları konusunda görüş bildirmişlerdir.
