The article brings news about an early-modern manuscript recently purchased by the National Library in Prague. It was written in the years 1789-1790 by Michal Blažek, the Moravian superintendent of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren, and contains twenty sermons. Circumstances of the purchase are given and the manuscript is described, analysed, and evaluated for its overall merit.
