- Abstract
To the vegetal vitrocultures is observed, sometimes, a particular phenomenon of transparency of phytoinocul tissues, this process is called vitrification, or hyperhydricity. Hyperhydricity, respectively vitrification process of vitrocultivated vegetal cells and tissue, is under the incidence of many provocative of dysfunction situations, the main causes which induce and sustain the appearance and maintain such phenomenon, without those endogenous, are: microclimate of culture vessels and those of growth room (which involves factors account physical, chemical and physical-chemical), the most disturb incriminate situations are: the quality of atmosphere from culture vessels - to the hydrous report (loaded with steams) and gaseous (in particular the presence of ethylene and lack of oxygen) - and the culture medium composition, especially the physical status of this, respectively solidified substratum (and the nature of solidified agent), or liquid, semisolid, or double stratified; to those listed is added regime of pH, ambient temperature (from growth room, or that from the base or from the top of culture vessel), the lighting regime of vitrocultures and last but not least, their interaction, in their entirely, or compartments. Most symptoms of hyperhydrical abnormality are often nonreversible, however, by vitrified phytoinoculs subcultivation on optimum induced and sustained medium of normal leaflets formation, respectively this reversion at normality status, can sometimes be achieved. Histoanatomical alterations, produced in foliar limbs of hyperhydric sugar beet vitroleaflets, are very serious and profound. At optical microscopy level, mainly were able to observe the transformation of assimilating parenchyma cells, which become deformed, their intercellular spaces are large, the stomatas on the upper epidermis are implosed, and those from the lower epidermis had wide open osteols; the nucleus of hyperhidric tissue cells are small, their chloroplasts are rare and fusiform, and the whole issue seems dystrophic.
