- Abstract
The article offers information on the definition, purpose and significant need of public awareness for cell-site simulators technology in the U.S. media industry. It discusses the significance of the amicus briefs filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Electronic Frontier Foundation in the U.S. District Court of Arizona case U.S. v. Rigmaiden against the Federal Bureau of Investigation's use of a cell-site simulator called Stingray violating the Fourth Amendment protections.
