- Abstract
Three case studies of healthy male patients are presented, who had refractory hemorrhage following surgical procedures on the kidney. The 3 patients had experienced hemodynamically unstable despite of blood transfusions. The patients were administered with recombinant activated factor VII (rFVIIa) to restructure human plasma. It examines the effectiveness of rFVIIa for patients undergoing renal surgery complicated with life-threatening hemorrhage.
