- Abstract
The article focuses on the study which examines the effectiveness of laparoscopic flap pyeloplasty method to treat pediatric patients with ureteropelvic-junction-obstruction (UPJO). Based on the abdominal ultrasonography test, intravenous urography and magnetic resonance urography, a seven-year-old girl with mild abdominal pain has found with severe hydronephrosis at the right side of her pelvic kidney. Surgical procedure was performed successfully under general anesthesia in supine position via transperitoneal approach. It states that laparoscopic dismembered pyeloplasty (LDP) was very effective because it could contribute minimal blood loss.
