The article examines the diet of the Western Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosus). It was noted that the Harriers eat various small mammals and birds and occasionally prey on larger items which reportedly tend to be juvenile, sick or disabled. However, the author was able to record a Harrier capture and prey on an aggressive Herring Gull on September 8, 2013.
