- Abstract
The article presents a study that investigates the pervasiveness and distribution of Salmonella serovar in cobras, farm workers and snake-food species at the Queen Saovabha Snake Park in Thailand. Researchers examined 166 intestinal and fecal samples found in the farm and performed DNA analysis, serological identification and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). Moreover, they found that Salmonella is a resident of the intestinal tract of cobras that lived in contaminated environment.
