- Abstract
A literary criticism of the 1932 book "Der Arbeiter" ("The Worker"), by Ernst Jünger, is presented. Topics include the views of philosophers Walter Benjamin and Ernst Bloch on the political aspects of the book, utopian aspects of the book, and the approach to technology that Jünger takes. It is said that associations of "Der Arbeiter" with National Socialism are erroneous.
