- Abstract
An essay is presented which discusses art with gay themes, such as Henri Toulouse-Lautrec's portrait of author Oscar Wilde, Pablo Picasso's portrait of author Gertrude Stein, and Beauford Delaney's portrait of his friend James Baldwin, based on information from the book "Art and Queer Culture" by Catherine Lord and Richard Meyer. Artists James Koch and Heather Cassils are mentioned, as well as works such as "The Sculptor" by Koch.
