Abstract
The article provides information concerning the impact of diet during pregnancy on the risk of baby developing cleft lip or palate. The author implies that pregnant women who eat large quantity of meat and carbohydrates and very little quantity of fruits and vegetables may be putting their babies at higher risk of developing a cleft lip or palate.
