- Abstract
Cold urticaria (ColdU) is a common type of inducible urticaria, characterized by the appearance of weals, angio-oedema or both upon cold exposure, either by direct contact or exposure to a cold ambient. Localized cold urticaria is an atypical form of acquired ColdU, characterized by the occurrence of lesions in limited areas, even when the whole body is exposed to cold. The patient in this manuscript has given written informed consent to the publication of his case details.
