- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examines the correlation between drugs administered subcutaneously via a syringe driver and the incidence of syringe driver site reactions in palliative care. A data collection form was used, when a subcutaneous infusion via a syringe driver was performed. Statistical data analysis showed incidence of syringe driver site reaction. It suggests use of Teflon cannula needle and recommends change of syringe needle driver every 6 days, if drugs are unknown.
