- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 22-year-old mother of a 10-month-old infant who presented due to a foamy discharge coming out of the scalp of her child since three months. An investigation found that the mother had been applying baby shampoo on the scalp of her child, prompting a diagnosis of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. The mother was referred to the psychiatry department for psychological interventions.
