- Abstract
The article focuses on decontamination procedures used in the Huddersfield School of Podiatry in Huddersfield, England that meet British Department of Health codes of practice. The author notes that the autoclaves have a instrument tracking system which was modified to allow it to communicate with benchtop equipment to track all instrument sets with regard to operator and patient. The author mentions that instruments from different batches can be identified to investigate any risk of cross-infection.
