- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 69-year-old lady with hydroxyurea-resistant, intermediate-2-risk MF who was treated with ruxolitinib. After three years she was presented with unrelenting fever and disoriented consciousness and diagnosed with growth of Cryptococcus neoformans in cerebro spinal fluid and underwent a combination therapy with a high-dose fluconazole and amphotericin B. According to different study ruxolitinib-treated patients are under higher risk of infections.
