- Abstract
The article presents a study which determines whether physical properties of extracted teeth are affected by high-pressure steam sterilization. It mentions that 32 extracted teeth with no carious lesions were immersed in a dilute four percent sodium hypochlorite solution for 24 hours, half of it were sterilized with steam autoclave while the rest were not. The study reveals that autoclaving teeth do not alter their physical properties.
