- Abstract
The article examines ways to achieve distributive justice for African American farmers in light of the Pigford v. Glickman discrimination case against the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for its role in the loss of their farmland. Topics discussed include the history of African American farmland ownership, benefit of using the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) in creating a Distributive Justice Fund for African American farmers, and proposed improvements to the VCF model.
