- Abstract
The article discusses jurisdictional (forum) competition and choice of law competition in securities law cases in the U.S. in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the case Morrison v. National Australia Bank Ltd. as of November 2012. In Morrison, the court determined that the antifraud provisions of Section 10(b) of the nation's Securities Exchange Act of 1934 do not extend to securities transactions which occur outside of the U.S.
