- Abstract
The article presents an editorial looking at U.S. corporate health promotion legislation. The Healthy Workforce Act includes a tax credit for corporate health promotion programs. According to the article, to qualify, corporate programs must offer programs to all employees working more than a certain amount, use strategies supported by evidence-based research, and be relevant to various cultures. The article discusses health education, health behavior change, and the role of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in corporate health programs.
