The article discusses the legal issue concerning a patient's right to choose when to die with physician assistance in Canada. Topics discussed include the decision of the Supreme Court to oppose the case of patient Sue Rodriguez who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, risk of physician who supported assisted suicide of terminally ill for prosecution, and Canadian Medical Association's support for a law reform on assisted suicide.
