Health & Fitness Association elects new board leaders.
- Abstract
Koelsch Communities recently opened its Belle Harbour campus in Bellevue, Washington, which includes standalone assisted living and memory care communities. The campus, valued at $93 million, encompasses nearly three acres and features two communities: The Park at Belle Harbour for assisted living and The Inn at Belle Harbour for memory care. The campus aims to provide a catered living experience with 24-hour nursing care and the opportunity for residents to age with dignity. Additionally, Koelsch Communities announced that its University Village campus in southwest Washington is now over 50% occupied, exceeding initial expectations. The campus offers independent living, assisted living, and cottages with various amenities such as a gym, pool, greenhouse, movie theater, and more. The Health & Fitness Association elected new board leaders, including Chris Smith as chair, Luke Carlson as vice chair, and Al Noshirvani as treasurer. The association, previously known as IHRSA, provides a unified voice for leaders in the health and fitness industry. Del Webb celebrated the opening of the clubhouse and amenity center at Carolina Gardens in North Carolina with a winter garden party. The event marked the completion of a new active-adult community.
