- Abstract
The article explores the broadening unemployment compensation laws in Pennsylvania. It cites the controversial decision issued by the Supreme Court on the case Diehl v. Unemployment Compensation Board of Review that provided the companies an incentive to promote early retirement and eligibility for unemployment benefits. In addition, the decision has provided employers some reasons to alter their employee reduction plans.
