- Abstract
The article critiques the books "What Is to Be Done?," "April Thesis" and "State and Revolution," by Vladimir Lenin, a Russian communist revolutionary, politician and political theorist. "What Is to Be Done" and "April Thesis" are manifests of the utopian event and the jacobean tactics, where Lenin suggests the open confrontation and the refusal of democratic substitutes. "State and Revolution" is considered the starting point for the drafts of labour union officials and party politicians.
