- Title
Editorial: Philosophy of Business Education.
- Authors
McEwen, Beryl C.
- Abstract
The author examines the philosophy of business education as a discipline. Instructional theories that affect one's perception about teaching and learning include essentialism and interpretivism. One area for study that should be explored regarding computer proficiency of college students is exploration of the varying definitions of computer literacy. Associations, such as Delta Pi Epsilon (DPE) and the National Association for Business Teacher Education (NABTE), must help define the theoretical framework of the discipline.
