- Authors
Kelley, Catherine L.
- Abstract
The article describes strategies applied by the Office of Educational Technology (OET) at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey to improve its services to support the Distance Learning Initiative without using additional operating funds. The initiative required all freshmen to take one distance learning course per year. The OET maximized the use of the Enterprise system capabilities of the Blackboard course management system. It partnered with academic departments, computing services, instructional media and enrollment services to manage the scheduling of existing course technology.
