This article seeks to explore the cult of saints and their relics as practiced by the various communities of medieval Perthshire, Scotland. It is a look at the long rhythm of a cultural practice that crosses the boundaries of early and late medieval Christianity. The popularity of the cult of saints which reformers perceived as its theological misguidedness is also discussed.
