- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the effect that volunteer hospital coordinators have on the hospital marketing department. The author believes that these two groups can mutually benefit each other by working together. The author discusses aspects of structuring a program that motivates volunteers to view themselves as recipients of the hospital's health care. Also mentioned are communication techniques for hospital administrators dealing with patients and volunteers.
