- Abstract
In the study, the relationship between school administrators' leadership styles and teachers' psychological wellbeing and psychological resilience was examined. The study employed a relational survey model and a quantitative research method. The sample of the study consisted of 344 teachers working in Mersin Provincial Directorate of National Education in 2022-2023, selected by random sampling method. The research data were analysed with descriptive statistics, t-test for independent samples, one-way ANOVA analysis, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis and regression analysis. According to the results obtained from the research, teachers see school administrators more as democratic leaders. According to the results of the research, teachers' psychological resilience levels were found to be medium and psychological well-being levels were found to be high. According to the results of the research, teachers' views on democratic leadership, psychological well-being and psychological resilience differ according to gender variable. According to the school type variable, their perceptions about psychological well-being show a significant difference. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that there is a positive and low level significant relationship between democratic leadership and psychological well-being and psychological resilience. In addition, there is a significant positive relationship between psychological well-being and psychological resilience at medium level. According to the results of the study, only democratic leadership was found to be a significant predictor of teachers' psychological well-being and psychological resilience
