- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 38-year-old man diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia and was treated with statins. Topics discussed include the involvement of proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) in the regulation of cholesterol homeostasis, patient data during PCSK9 inhibitor treatment, and how an oxidized low density lipoprotein (LDL) marker level could be reduced.
