- Abstract
The article discusses the measurement of pesticide residue in Capsicum annuum or peppers using near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) analysis and DESIR technique. It focuses on the results through NIRS technology in detecting the pesticide residue feasibility in peppers. NIRS has proven its efficiency in providing swift and non-destructive preliminary testing for pesticide residue. The suspect samples are adviced to be confirmed using known analytical methods for pesticides.
