- Abstract
The following article was written from the elaboration of a doctoral thesis in a research developed with the faculty of a public university located within the State of São Paulo, specifically, in the Bachelor of Dentistry course, that had as the main purpose to comprehend and highlight the connections between active teaching-learning methodology and procedural evaluation as faces of the same pedagogical practice. The choice of such a university was due to the proposal of insertion of active methodologies in its Pedagogical Project. It was a qualitative research that had as methodological instruments the accomplishment of individual interviews with professors, analysis of the institution's Pedagogical Project, monitoring classes and realization of a Focus Group where teaching-learning conceptions, methodologies and evaluation were the focus. This article presents an excerpt with episodes of active actions and methods, as well as evaluation procedures and their criteria and instruments.
