- Abstract
Subalternization can be understood as a process by which the subject ceases to be recognized as a part, as an equal, an issue triggered by a set of factors that places him in a condition of non-legitimation, seen as falling short of expected norms and adjustment standards. As such, it is a subject outside the norm. Based on this foundation, our proposal is to discuss the peasant identity, through the processes of subalternization and non-recognition of these subjects, within the perspective of rural education, considering the complex historical processes that placed the rural subject in this place of non-legitimation. For this, we have the challenge of bringing to the discussion the importance of an educational process, in the countryside, with an inclusive perspective, since this type of education has always been postponed, and for sociocultural reasons, a common sense conception is that life in the countryside dispenses a school education adjusted to the demands of those who live in the countryside. Due to this postponement, the aim is to discuss here how the classroom can help in the enterprise of collapse with all forms of delegitimization, which makes the peasant subject a subordinate.
