- Authors
Myers, B
- Abstract
The article presents insights regarding a study by L. J. J. Scheres and colleagues on abnormal vaginal bleeding in women receiving direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) for treatment of venous thrombosis. The effects of various DOACs are mentioned including edoxaban, warfarin, and rivaroxaban. Particular focus is also given to the importance of counselling to avoid pregnancy and contraceptive advice while taking a DOAC.
