- Title
UNE RÉVOLUTION INACHEVÉE: Dix ans après la commission Erasmus-Dussault les autochtones se cherchent une voie politique.
- Authors
Myles, Brian
- Abstract
This article presents the author's opinion that the report published by the Canadian Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples called for a revolution among the First Nations. It is noted that a proposal was made to offer self-governance to First Nations that would operate autonomously, but this was never instituted. The author believes that the First Nations will never be able to function autonomously until they take hold of their own destinies.
