However, prenatal and postnatal evaluations about additional CNS or extra-CNS malformations, congenital infection, and genetic abnormality need to be performed. This study was conducted at 18 university hospitals and following outcomes analysed: associated central nervous system (CNS) and extra-CNS anomalies detected at the scan, additional CNS anomalies during pregnancy, need for surgery, and clinical outcomes. Results Among 156 cases, 130 cases were diagnosed as isolated malformation after excluding cases other CNS or extra-CNS anomalies, infection, and chromosomal abnormalities.
