The article discusses the role of control and distributed attention in the experience of flow in music performance. Topics discussed include role of successful control for musicians, role of positive emotions and tests conducted to reveal flow via questions for piano students covering musical preferences, musical emotions, amount of musical training and socio-demographic variables.
