- Abstract
Harut and Marut are two religious figures that existed in many societies and religious since Sumerians, and thought as much more Angel. There are many tales about these two names in various religions and cultures, particularly in Judaism. These two creature mentioned as angel in the Koran that is holy book of Islam and it is reported that they teach to use sorcery and magic. However, it is obvious that the beliefs and thoughts concerning these angels in Islamic culture are based on Judaism rather than the Koran. That reality which is seen in many hadith and history books reflected in literature in the same way, in Turkish Literature as well as Arabic and Persian Literatures, Harut and Marut were taken on with tales that based on Judaism. In this article firstly tales about Harut and Marut will be summarized and subsequently some information will be given about a translated pamphlet which is thought to has been written in the 18th century as a refusal against the beliefs about these two angels and the transcription of the pamphlet will be submitted to the attention of researches.
