- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 14-year old boy on anti-tubercular treatment who was diagnosed with hematuria and proteinuria. The patient was examined for glomerulonephritis, lupus nephritis and drug-induced lupus erythematosus. It describes the mechanisms of hematuria and proteinuria and discusses the management of these conditions including management of drug-induced lupus and a modified anti-tubercular treatment with discontinued administration of isoniazid and rifampin.
