- Abstract
The advent of technological innovations led to an expansion in all areas of organizations. This allowed managers to reinforce companies with interactive devices, in order to streamline the functioning of the same. However, there are devices that are not always well accepted by employees, such as cameras capture images that are placed in many organizations in order to ensure greater security for all involved, considering that currently the level of social violence in business is growing significantly. For this fact, the research was aimed to analyze the perceptions of managers and employees regarding the use of image capture equipment and the identification of the influence of these artifacts on the desktop. The research dealt with is a descriptive exploratory study and possessed a quantitative character. The method used was made from data collection through a structured questionnaire, which were answered by employees and managers of companies in order to capture the perceptions of them. We used a convenience sample. To analyze the data collected by the researchers, we used the SPSS statistical software. The results of the study indicates that there is little interference from the image capture devices in the workplace, since, been identified that the largest share of respondents indicated no negative impact in the presence of the cameras, they feel safer because of them and did not feel inhibited and drop in performance. Consider also the highest levels in the organization that the cameras are intended to ensure the safety of those working and lower levels in the organizational structure in order to oversee the work.
