- Abstract
This editorial discusses some ways that the legacy of the late novelist Mordecai Richler, who died in 2001, was remembered. He was remembered in "The Richler Challenge" 2004 conference hosted by McGill's Institute for the Study of Canada. Some publications about Richler include the oral biography "The Last Honest Man," by Michael Posner and "Modercai & Me: An Appreciation of a Kind," by Joel Yanofsky. The Boréal Press published the "Un certain sens du ridicule," including Dominique Fortier's translations of Richler's essays.
