- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the changes in composition and structure of forest species in Wisconsin. It aims to identify the maximum magnitude of change in forest ecosystems. The source of data of came from the original U.S. Public Land Survey records in the middle of 1800s, the Wisconsin Land Economic Inventory in 1930s, and the U.S. Forest Service Inventory and Analysis data in 2000s.
